Many of these ornaments are designer samples and are not available for purchase anywhere else! This is your opportunity to purchase beautiful designer ornaments that will make your holiday sparkle.

These ornaments, together with hand-made wreaths and more will be on display for sale in the GCCR Gallery, located at 1407 Sherwood Avenue. Hours are from 1 to 5 pm. Once the sale concludes, these ornaments may never be for sale in Richmond again. Don't miss this one-time opportunity!

Forum for Richmond Mayoral Candidates

Mayoral Forum - Click for Full SizeJoin us on October 4 as all five candidates for Richmond Mayor participate in a forum designed to address issues important to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community. Moderated by Virginia Currents host May-Lily Lee, Paul Goldman, Robert Grey, Dwight Jones, Bill Pantele and Lawrence Williams will answer questions from a panel of community leaders and from audience members. Submit your questions for the candidates online.

A complimentary brunch will be provided! Brunch begins at promptly at 10 am and the Forum begins at 11 am. Sponsored by Equality Virginia, Fan Free Clinic, ROSMY and the Gay Community Center of Richmond. GCCR Event Hall.

Equality Virginia Advocacy Training

Attend this FREE advocacy training, and join Equality Virginia's local efforts to help pass legislation to end workplace discrimination in Virginia!

No experience required! Materials and snacks provided. Training runs from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the GCCR Event Hall. More information and registration at Equality Virginia

Martinez and Guthrie in Concert - FREE!

Accoustic folk musicians Martinez & Guthrie perform live at GCCR at 4:00 pm. Heard on Sirius Radio The Coffee House channel, Joe and Gus have a tremendous sound, featuring a "subtle layering of vocals with instruments like the congas, mandolin, accordion, guitar, bass and drums." Check them out at their MySpace page for info and song downloads.The concert is free and we're picking up the tab for refreshments, too! Come on out, grab a cup and check out this great band.
