Welcome to the Metropolitan Community Church of Richmond, VA. MCC Richmond is a Christian church located in Richmond, Virginia. Because God made us and loves us as we are, we show love for each other through caring community. We celebrate the diversity of Christian traditions - past, present and yet to be revealed.
MCC Richmond is a part of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches, an inclusive worldwide fellowship of Christian congregations. UFMCC was founded in 1968 by the Reverend Troy Perry to meet the spiritual needs of the gay and lesbian community. MCC Richmond was established in 1978.

The mission of MCC Richmond is to build a strong, nurturing spiritual community that fully supports the holy integration of spirituality and sexuality, and is committed to transforming the lives of all God's people in metropolitan Richmond by promoting personal well-being, spiritual growth, and stewardship.
