I have been in Richmond (this time) for 3 years. I am an introvert ... NOT shy ... just not verbose, loquacious, nor convivial except in private or intimate groups. Consequently, I do not go anywhere much. And am real anxious to meet other ladies 40+. Unfortuntately I will be away until May 2012 and not attending the March meeting. I would TRULY appreicate if someone would make the "about events, groups, happenings in Richmond, Where can I go?" information available on the RLF Flyer.
Or e.mail me: 1st.Spirit@gmail.com

I hate to say it, but homophobia was one of the primary reasons I wanted to leave Richmond. I had not yet matured into the person I am comfortable with today, and it heartens me to see an outreach campaign like this again. Part of the stigma towards gays I applied to myself, preventing myself from seeking additional counseling and support that might have been available.
