The Gay Community Center of Richmond is an operation of the Richmond Gay Community Foundation. Founded in 1999, the RGCF operates under the trade names of Gay Community Center of Richmond and Diversity Thrift.
The RGCF is governed by a ten-member board of directors that operates under bylaws. As a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization, the RGCF files form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service.
